I don’t know the words of Cardio Kickboxing. After searching through internet, I found interesting things.

In fact Cardio Kickboxing is created by Frank Thiboutot in 1992, about 30 years ago. Thiboutot was from Maine, and living in Kansas now.

Cardio Kickboxing is workout that mix between fast moving cardio and martial arts, hence this is a kind of high energy exercises.

Then, is Cardio Kickboxing popular?

Yes, Cardio Kickboxing is popular workout in the USA recently.

Data from Statista (2017) showed the participants was 6.7 million people across America in 2017. The number fluctuates year by year.

Comparing to “martial arts,” the number is not bad. From the same source (Statista, 2021), there are about 6.3 million participants.

As you know, the martial arts include:

- Karate

- Taekwondo

  2. I think in Europe this kind of high energy exercise isn't as popular as we see in the USA.
With regards to martial arts, when I was young, as a boy of 12 or 13, I didn't find judo too difficult to learn.

    Have a great weekend!

  3. Taekwondo is still popular here. There is a place next to the grocery store where kids go. This is also helpful for adults. I have a cousin who is still doing it and he's in his fifties. He does it for fitness and helps parents and kids at the tournaments too..so lots of benefits in this exercise. It gives him a lot of discipline he says in his health and life.

  4. I remember years ago when the mall was in full swing you could watch classes going on of karate. It was so cool. I don't know what happened to that place now. But I hear about classes happening around. I think it would be good for you. A friend's son went when he was younger and it really helped him focus on school too. So the marital arts has a lot to offer.
