The Freeloader Showing up Daily - Critter 102

The temperatures more than F 95* (C 35*) in our areas in recent days. We thought it is the good time to attract birds.


Fig - Green lizard comes to drink

Some birds species our yard during Summer are:
- Bluebirds
- Caroline wrens
- House finches
- Woodpeckers
- Hummingbirds and etc.
,.
However, we saw a little green lizard crawl on feeder. We think the izard needs after eating those insects; ants and bugs that always find their way up there.

    What a great picture! We feed the humming birds but I don't think we will see the lizard on ours here in PA!

    This really is a good picture of the lizard. Hopefully he is after any ants that have made there way to the feeder, and not the hummingbirds..

    Whatever the reason the lizard shows up, it's a great thing to see in a garden!

    Wow! An anole lizard! That's amazing! I love the Anolis lizards, they have those flashy dewlaps, their males anyway. I'm sure having them crawl on the bird feeder like this must be really nice. Such endearing reptiles.
